Abstract

This publication is part of the efforts of BPS Sumenep Regency in order to see the general outline of the welfare problems of the population of Sumenep Regency by representing it in a Human Development Index value. Please note that this publication presents the new method of HDI figures. In calculating the new method of HDI, several changes and adjustments have been made to the HDI, both the indicators used and the calculation techniques. So it is hoped that the new method of HDI figures will be more valid and relevant in measuring the achievements of human development.
