Abstract

In December 2020, there was an inflation of 0.71 in Sumenep percent above the East Java inflation rate of 0.46 percent and the National 0.45 percent.

Inflation occurs due to an increase in prices as indicated by increase in some of the expenditure group index. There are 7 groups expenditure that has increased is the food group, beverages and tobacco 2.30 percent; provider group food and beverages / restaurants by 0.77 percent; group equipment, tools, and household routine maintenance of 0.71 percent; housing, water, electricity and home fuels group stairs by 0.16 percent; the transportation group of 0.06 percent; the recreation, sports, and culture group by 0.03 percent and the information, communication and financial services group of 0.02 percent. Meanwhile, the expenditure group experienced a decrease in index or experiencing deflation, namely the personal care and services group others by -1.64 percent. The 3 other groups are relative the index is stable there is no significant increase, namely the group clothing and footwear; education group and health group

Commodities affect inflationSumenep in December 2020 is red chili, cayenne pepper, tomatoes and eggs. As for the main obstacle commodities inflation or experiencing deflation, namely gold jewelry, onions, apples and squid.
