The agenda was carried out in a series of work visit activities to Sumenep Regency
Accompanied by the Regent of Sumenep, Dr.KH.A.Busyro Karim, M.Si and the Head of the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) of East Java Province, Dadang Hardiawan, the Governor seemed very enthusiastic about helping census officers. Starting from conducting interviews to asking about the whereabouts of KTP and Family Card (KK). According to him, because the Population Identification Number (NIK) is very important for every citizen, all East Java people must be recorded in the 2020 Population Census.
The presence of the number one person in East Java in order to closely monitor the population data collection was also to ensure that the implementation of the population census was running smoothly. Moreover, every ten years, all population data must be updated. So it requires verification of the latest population mobility data.
Community participation in filling in population census data is an important part of government work in providing services to the community. With the help of updated population data, the precision of planning carried out will be more accurate. The updated population census data becomes the reference for all development planning, from national, regional, provincial, district / city to village and sub-district.
